Cyber and Data Security in a Burgeoning Legal and Regulatory Landscape

After careful consideration of the evolving concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the difficult decision to postpone this event. While the risk of exposure in the U.S. remains low, the health and safety of our attendees and employees are our top priorities. At this time, we have not rescheduled the event due to the ever-changing nature of this virus. However, we will update you when we move the event to a future date.

Cybersecurity knows no borders. Prudent officers of companies operating in today’s burgeoning cyber threat environment and legal landscape understand the need for a global perspective and global capabilities to protect their organizations while satisfying their fiduciary duties.

You are invited to join DLA Piper’s Data Protection, Privacy and Security group, in coordination with Major, Lindsey & Africa, for a CLE breakfast seminar as we cover hot topics and trends in cyber and data security.

Join our distinguished panelists who will present:

  • An overview: it’s not just fines; it’s the diversifying threats and their potential impact on your brand and your livelihood – the latest major changes in laws and regulations in key jurisdictions around the world.
  • Cybersecurity investigations and litigation – the privacy and security implications of civil litigation and government investigations.
  • Multidisciplinary approaches to operations – operational insights and best practices.
  • A mini tabletop exercise.
