From London Heathrow (LHR), Central London is best accessed via public transport on the Elizabeth Line.  Take the Elizabeth Line from LHR to Tottenham Court Road Station.  From there, change to the Northern Line southbound to Embankment.  (approx. 50 minutes).

By taxi from LHR, travel time to Central London can vary greatly depending on the time of day.  As an estimate,  the journey via Uber will typically cost around £50 and will take around 90 minutes. 

From London City Airport (LCY), take the DLR to Bank Station.  From there, change to the Circle or District Lines westbound to Temple Station.  (approx. 40 minutes)

By taxi from LCY,  Uber estimates an average price of £37, with an average travel time of 25 minutes.  

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

King's College is on The Strand in Central London.  The venue is easily accessible by public transport via the following stations: 

  • Temple: District & Circle Lines 
  • Charing Cross: Bakerloo, Northern Line and Southeastern Rail
  • Covent Garden: Piccadilly Line
